The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a beloved and timeless story. For centuries, people have debated on why Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet took their own lives. They did not suffer from inescapable mental illness. They were young, healthy, wealthy and had everything to live for.

So why did they choose to exit this world? Through watching this. When I read the tragedy Romeo and Juliet, I thought that it had quite the dark ending. However, I also thought that we could learn from this extreme case of what grudges do to people. Juliet initially refuse but after going to the friar for help and creating a plan to fake her death, she agrees to get married. Her decision makes her father very.

In the play Romeo and Juliet, written by famous playwright William Shakespeare, a key idea that relates to society today is the idea of how love can blind people into doing violent things to themselves or others. This idea is explored at three different times in the play, when Romeo kills Tybalt, when Romeo kills himself and when Juliet kills herself.

This play is the story of two teenagers who fall in love at first sight but cannot be together because their families are bitter enemies. When the. The Friar had the perfect plan but Friar John couldn't deliver the letter just for the mere fact that he had to go visit a sick friend, but that is Shakespeare for you. At the end of the book the Friar had confessed his plan to the prince.

You could tell he was wholeheartedly sad at the fact that their story ended in death, but i don't believe people were the only ones to. Romeo turns to Friar Lawrence and claims that being banished from Verona is far worse than being death.

Romeo and Juliet should be given their wedding night however as soon as dawn is creeping its way Romeo should leave for Mantua. He shall not make me there a joyful bride This demonstrates how Juliet feels about marrying Paris, but she could have just avoided this by actually telling the truth about her being married with Romeo. With all the evidence provided, it shows that Juliet was also to blame due to her not thinking about better decisions about handling her little problems that can be dealt with.

O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin back 1. How else will they disobey his advice at all? This reason is that Lord Capulet's family has problems with Romeo's Family.

If they never had problems then Juliet and Romeo would never killed there selves. I think they would have not committed suicide because Juliet could have simply told her father that she is in love with Romeo.

But since they do have family feud if she told her father that he would have probably killed her. On the other hand when Romeo told his father about him marring Juliet his father wanted them to get married.

And as a result of their impulsive thinking, they suffered a tragic fate. Distraught, she attempts to drink anything that may be left in the bottle. Romeo has consumed it all. Juliet then tries to find some of the poison by kissing Romeo on the lips. What's here? Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end: O churl! I will kiss thy lips; Haply some poison yet doth hang on them,. Juliet is now abandoned. She is alone in the tomb, with very few options.

Her beloved Romeo is dead. At that moment, Juliet hears the sound of the watchmen entering the tomb. Just like Romeo, she does not want to live without her love. Juliet finds Romeo's dagger, pulls it from its sheath, and prepares to thrust it into her heart. Just before she commits suicide, she makes a poetic reference, naming her heart as the new sheath for his dagger. Most of the evidence points to Friar Laurence as the person most responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence married the two young lovers in secret, and took several actions that may have led to the death of Romeo and Juliet.

Friar Laurence sent Romeo to Mantua. He also gave Juliet a sleeping potion that would cause her to appear to be dead. The Friar sent a messenger to Mantua to let Romeo know of the plan, but that messenger was delayed. Romeo never received his note. But when I came, some minute ere the time Of her awaking, here untimely lay The noble Paris and true Romeo dead. She wakes; and I entreated her come forth, And bear this work of heaven with patience: But then a noise did scare me from the tomb; And she, too desperate, would not go with me, But, as it seems, did violence on herself.
