Where is flamingo park

Flamingo Park was completely renovated through the City's GO Bond-funded Parks and Recreation improvement initiative, and Sunrise celebrated its grand re-opening in September The park now features a new, 5,square-foot meeting facility that can accommodate up to people for programs and rentals. In order to maximize program space, the original meeting hall was also renovated. Flamingo Park also offers three new, covered outdoor basketball courts; baseball fields with batting cages; reconstructed soccer fields; and a walking path with ten pieces of outdoor exercise equipment.

There's a new baseball-themed splash pad with a covered seating area, as well as a refurbished playground with new equipment, surfacing, and canopies. Flamingo Park features a state-of-the-art aquatic center with two pool areas. The eight-lap swimming pool is kept at a comfortable temperature year-round so you can take a dip any time.

The center also provides lockers, lounge chairs and shower facilities. Little ones and anyone young at heart can cool down and splash around at the facility's outdoor water playground. Contact the park for information about reserving a spot at one of the many courts or fields.

Some areas of the park are also available to rent for events. Visitors should wear a face mask and physically distance from others. Call ahead to confirm rental availability, hours and amenity availability. Visit the Miami Beach government website for more information about restrictions.
